Fearless is a 2010 Robertson&Caine Leopard 46 (Owner’s Version).  Buying a boat is an exhausting undertaking.  There are hundreds of models, and all come with pros and cons.  Fairly early in our boat shopping experience Andi boldly claimed, “I think the Leopard 46 is the right boat for us.”  She had done a ton of research and from what she learned, this boat stood out from the pack.  The problem is a lot of other people have figured that out, too, so finding one was more difficult than we imagined, especially one that hadn’t been abused in a charter fleet.  We got really lucky with Fearless.  Her previous owners did an amazing job maintaining her and we have continued that trend.  We love our boat!

Fearless was designed by Gino Morelli and Pete Melvin to be fast and comfortable, and she is both.  It’s important to mention the Morelli-Melvin roots because those guys are all about performance.  Together, they have designed some amazing ocean racing machines over the course of their careers, and they are now the architects for HH catamarans – www.hhcatamarans.com.  If you ever step from a Leopard 46 onto an HH55, you can see the Leopard 46 pedigree everywhere.  As a result of their focus on performance, Fearless is a delight to sail and we often leave newer production models in our wake, even going to windward.
